GoT, Ice and Fire, Alice and Kim Possible??

Soooooo, it's my month! My very favourite month! Hallowtober.
That also means that I'm at my all time busiest. Like.. my outside-of-work-load is outta control!
I just finished and sold a red gown for my etsy, a tribute to Melisandre while not being the tv series cosplay: fav.me/d5gmqln
Which, resulted in an email from another client requesting the cosplay tv version Melisandre, as well as two Daenerys costumes - the blue gown and the desert pants/vest top. I'm pretty excited. If I could just make GoT cosplays for the rest of my life, for a living, I totally would! hahaha. Though, there are too many great costume-porn series out there! Like the Tudors, or Once Upon A Time. Mmmm.

Also, Since Halloween is coming up I'm doing all the family costumes, naturally.
My sister will be going as Shego from Kim Possible, so I'm in the middle of making a full spandex body suit for her.
And, since I've learned silk painting, I'll be hand painting and creating an authentic Alice Madness Returns Siren dress cosplay for myself. Add to that a full samurai costume for my better half and that's just the beginning!!

Then, of course, our annual Halloween parties - one giant one we like to go to, and a massive horror themed party thrown by some very costume/prop savvy friends of ours - and a house full of guests for at least one of those, means SO MUCH CLEANING TO BE DONE!! haha, it's amazing! I mean, really! I've got costume bits and fabric cut up and all over everything, but I gotta cleaaaan too?? nuts!! haha. We wouldn't have it any other way though. So far Halloween weekend has our house an additional 6 people up. haha!

In the meantime, I've joined a Game of Thrones costume group, and it's been amazing! Everyone is super helpful with brainstorming how to approach different costumes. I'm confident about the blue Daenerys gown that I've started. ^_^
I will post pictures as I finish everything!

And as far as Alice goes, I've got all my materials, except the foam for the angler fish and whatever I'm going to make a hobby horse and vorpal blade from! I really need to tackle those props..
